What can I claim?
Answer three questions and this page shows which benefits are worth your time. Nothing you choose is sent anywhere. There is no form to fill in, no email box, and no adviser waiting at the end of it.
Nothing you choose here leaves your device.
What this checker will not do
It will not tell you that you qualify. Entitlement turns on detail that three questions cannot reach — how far you can walk, what happens on a bad night, who else is in the household, what a decision maker makes of the form. Only the claim itself settles that. What this page can do is stop you reading about benefits that were never open to you, and stop you missing ones that are.
It also covers a list, not everything. It includes a benefit once our guide to it has been checked against the official source, rather than the week we think of it. If you are missing from the results, that is our gap, not your answer.
Where your answers go
Nowhere. The checker is a small piece of code running inside your own browser, so your age, your nation and your health answer are never transmitted to us or to anyone else. We could not see them if we wanted to. Close the tab and they are gone. Our privacy page sets out what the rest of the site does and does not collect.
Common questions
Does this checker tell me whether I qualify?
No. Three questions cannot settle entitlement, and any tool that claims otherwise is guessing. It narrows a long list down to the benefits worth reading about and applying for, which is a different and more honest job than pretending to give you a decision.
Do I have to give my name, email or phone number?
No. The checker runs inside your browser, so your answers are never sent anywhere and are never stored. Closing the page erases them. We do not ask for contact details in exchange for the result, and the result appears before anything is asked of you.
Why are some benefits missing?
It only covers benefits we have written a guide for and checked against GOV.UK. Pension Credit and Carer’s Allowance are not in it yet. Their absence is a gap in our coverage, not a sign that you are not owed them.
