If a figure on this site looks wrong, tell us. Corrections matter more to us than compliments, and we would rather hear it from you than leave it standing.
By email
This reaches the people who write the guides. We read everything. We cannot promise a reply to every message, and we will not chase you afterwards or add you to a mailing list — there isn't one.

What we can help with
A rate that has changed, a deadline that has moved, a link that has broken, a rule we have explained badly, or a guide you think is missing. Those are the messages that improve the site, and they are the ones we act on quickest.
What we cannot do
We cannot advise you on your own circumstances, fill in a form for you, contact the DWP or a council on your behalf, or tell you whether a particular claim will succeed. This site gives guidance, not regulated financial advice, and that line is one we hold to.
If you need someone to act on your case, free and independent help exists. Citizens Advice, Age UK and your local council's welfare rights team can all take on an individual claim in a way we deliberately do not.
Please do not send us medical records, bank details, National Insurance numbers or benefit award letters. We have no need for them and no wish to hold them. If a message arrives containing that sort of thing, we delete it.
How we are paid
Contacting us costs nothing and sells you nothing. Our how we make money page sets out the whole arrangement, and our privacy page covers what happens to anything you send.
