Later Life Guide

Privacy

The short version: we do not ask who you are, and we do not track you around the internet.

What we collect

Nothing you type into this site is sent to us. There are no accounts, no sign-up, and at present no forms. Our guides and tools are designed to answer your question on the page without asking for a name, an email address or a telephone number.

Like every website, the servers that deliver these pages keep short-term technical logs — the address of the page requested, the time, and general information about the browser and country. Those logs are handled by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, and are used to keep the site working and to defend it from attack. We do not use them to build a picture of you.

Advertising and tracking

There are no advertising networks on this site, no third-party trackers, and no cookies set for marketing. We do not sell, rent or share data about our readers, because we do not gather any worth selling. If that ever changes, this page changes first and says so plainly.

If you contact us or use a tool

Where a future tool offers to email you something — a checklist or a reminder — giving your address will always be optional and always be for that one purpose. You will be told what you are signing up for before you type anything, and you will be able to stop it in one step.

Links to other sites

Our guides link to GOV.UK and other official sources. Those organisations have their own privacy policies, and this one does not cover them.
