The dates nobody reminds you about
A Blue Badge stops working on a date printed on its face and nothing arrives to warn you. Pension Credit backdates three months and no further. Bereavement Support Payment shrinks the longer you leave it. None of these send a reminder.

Two of the tightest deadlines in this list follow from this date.
Worked out on your device. Nothing is sent anywhere.
Dealing with an estate? The probate deadline planner works out all seven dates that follow a death.
Why these dates are different
Most deadlines announce themselves. A tax return has letters behind it; a passport shows its own expiry every time you open it. The deadlines here are silent. Nobody writes, nothing changes on the day, and the loss only shows up later when the money does not arrive or the badge turns out to be invalid.
Two of them are worse than a simple cut-off. Pension Credit is a rolling loss: every week you wait is a week that can never be recovered, because backdating stops at three months. Bereavement Support Payment decays in steps rather than ending, so a late claim still pays something — only less, and eventually nothing.
What we left out, and why
The Funeral Expenses Payment has a time limit that is widely quoted as six months from the funeral. GOV.UK does not publish it on the pages that explain the payment, so it is not in the tracker. Cold Weather Payments are left out for a different reason: they are triggered by the weather where you live, not by a date, so there is no deadline to remind you of.
A tracker that invents a date is worse than one that stays quiet, because somebody acts on it. Every date here traces to a source, shown next to the date, with when we last checked.
Common questions
Does this send my dates anywhere?
Not unless you ask it to. Deadlines are worked out on your device and the calendar file is saved to your computer, so we never see them. Email reminders are optional. If you ask for one, we keep your email address, any first name you give and the dates you chose, and every email has a link that deletes them.
Which deadlines does it cover?
Blue Badge renewal, the Winter Fuel Payment opt-out, Pension Credit backdating, Bereavement Support Payment and Inheritance Tax. Each one is a real deadline with a consequence for missing it, taken from GOV.UK and shown with the date we last checked it against the source.
Why is the Funeral Expenses Payment deadline not here?
Because we could not verify it. It is widely quoted as six months from the funeral, but GOV.UK does not publish that on its overview or eligibility pages. A tracker that gives a date we cannot stand behind is worse than one that stays quiet.
What is the most commonly missed deadline?
Bereavement Support Payment. It does not expire in one go, it shrinks: the full amount needs a claim within three months of the death, and after 21 months there is usually nothing at all. It falls exactly when nobody is thinking about paperwork.
